How to write a persuasive essay? Persuasive essay is must be critical and analytical. You are expected to present different arguments in support of your point of view or position on the stated topic.  For example, if you are writing a persuasive essay against abortions, you should persuade your reader that abortions are wrong.  Opposite point of view should be also mentioned and refuted.  The readers may have a different opinion but you must persuade your audience to accept your point of view. If you know how to write a critical essay it will be easier for you to develop a good persuasive essay.  If you do not know how to write an essay, you should  start with the thesis statement:  define your main argument, gather supporting information, organize your thoughts, and write a paper.  It is a good idea to review persuasive essay topics before writing an essay.
